Mary McAleese: Victims' families impatient for change decades after North's killings

Decades on from bloody killings during Northern Ireland’s troubles many victims’ families remain impatient for change to ensure hatred does not pass down through generations, the former President of Ireland Mary McAleese has said.
The pain felt by loved ones of those who died in the violence that gripped the country is still fresh, Ms McAleese said, as she addressed a conference on the legacy of the conflict.
