Children need these five promises: ISPCC

The ISPCC is calling on all election candidates to make and keep five specific promises to young people if elected.
Ireland's child protection charity will set out the five promises at the launch of their election campaign this morning.
They include Government funding for a nationally available drug and alcohol rehabilitation network and a cyber safety programme.
Chief executive of the ISPCC Grainia Long said: "We will be asking all election candidates to sign up to these five promises.
"(These include) ensuring that children have an adequate standard of living (and) we need to be moving away from the current numbers in homeless accommodation and direct provision, and from the standards in Traveller accommodation.
"Young people have also told us we need to see a cyber-safety strategy within the first 100 days of the next Government."
