Public urged to stay away from A&E of Mater Hospital

The Mater Hospital in Dublin is urging the public to stay away from its emergency department due to high numbers and long waiting times.

In a statement this lunchtime it has said - where possible - people should attend their GP first - or the Rapid Injury Clinic in Smithfield for minor injuries.
