Police discover cannabis growhouse after 'unusual odour' reported

The PSNI have uncovered a cannabis factory in Newry, Co Down.

Cannabis plants with an estimated value of £50,000 were found in a property at Windsor Bungalows yesterday.

Equipment used in the cultivation of cannabis and other drugs paraphernalia was also seized.

The searches came about after a member of the public reported an unusual smell from the property.
