Mater Private hoping to attract more nurses back to Ireland

One of Dublin's biggest private hospitals is planning to attract nurses back to Ireland with a new relocation package.

The Mater Private is offering people living abroad a signing bonus, accommodation allowance and return flights.

Around 1,500 nurses graduate from Irish colleges each year.

The UK is the most popular destination for those who emigrate, with over 4,000 transfer applications since 2010.
