Man missing from Thurles

Update December 27:The body of David Tynan has been located. Gardaí wish to thank the media and the public for their assistance in this matter. No further action is required.

Gardaí wish to seek the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 46-year-old David Tynan who is missing from Thurles.

David was last seen on December 17 at approximately 11.30pm in Thurles.

He is described as being 6’ 3’’ tall and approximately 16 stone in weight.

He has short brown hair and when last seen he was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and boots.
