Limerick residents warned of heavy rain and high tides

Limerick residents have been urged to exercise caution around waterways during the Christmas period due to forecasts of heavy rain and higher than average tides.

Limerick City and County Council warned that high tides are due twice daily from December 24 to 28 on the Shannon Estuary and up to Limerick City.
