Elderly woman killed, and sister injured, in two-vehicle Cork crash

A 78-year-old woman has been killed and her 75-year-old sister injured in a two-vehicle crash in North Cork today.

The collision happened on the main Cork-Kanturk Road (the R579), at Glen South at around 11.30am when the woman's car was in collision with a truck.
