ESB to reduce flow from Parteen Weir; more rain expected into weekend

The ESB has said it is reducing the flow of water through Parteen Weir later today.

It said the level in Lough Derg dropped slightly in last 24 hours and the flow of water through the weir would reduce from 440 to 405 cubic metres per second.
