Fine Gael add former Labour councillor to election ticket in Cork

A former Labour councillor who left the party over its General Election plans will now run in the election for Fine Gael.

Noel McCarthy, the former mayor of Fermoy, has been added to the Fine Gael ticket in Cork East less than two months after leaving Labour.
