26-year-old in critical condition after attack in Navan

Gardaí have confirmed that a man has been seriously assaulted in Co Meath.

The 26-year-old was attacked at Tailtean and Windtown Road area of Navan at around 2pm.

He has been taken to hospital where he is in a critical condition.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses.
