School children in Wexford have lucky escape after tree falls on bus

A group of school children coming home from primary school in County Wexford had a narrow escape this evening after a tree fell on their bus.

According to Gardaí a tree fell on bus and car close to the N11 network just outside Enniscorthy around 4.30pm this evening.

Garda and emergency services attended the scene but there are no reports of any injuries.

Gardaí have asked the public not to make any unnecessary journeys this evening as Storm Barney is causing a lot of damage across the country.
