VIDEO: President to sign book of condolences and take part in minute's silence for Paris
President Michael D Higgins will add his name to a book of condolences for the victims of the Paris attacks today.
The President will also take part in the Europe-wide minute's silence at 11am when he visits the French Embassy in Dublin's Merrion Square.
The Irish flag is flying at half mast at all Government Buildings, including Leinster House, as part of three days of mourning.
The French community in Ireland took to the streets over the weekend as vigils were held throughout the country.
