One person injured in collision on the M50

The M50 is closed southbound at Lucan following a collision.

One woman has been critically injured in a crash between a truck and a car on the M50 in Dublin.

Her injuries occurred when her car was hit by two trucks around 5am this morning.

The incident is blocking three lanes.

Gardai have closed the on-ramp from the N4 and traffic already on the M50 is being diverted off.

The motorway is closed southbound at junction 7.

The injured woman has been taken to Tallaght hospital and the extent of her injuries is not yet known.
