Investigation underway following fire in Sligo

Gardai are investigating the cause of a fire at house in Sligo Town.

The fire broke out at the Mews on Mail Coach Road at around 9.30pm last night.

A number of people were evacuated from the house while Sligo Fire Brigade brought the blaze under control.

A technical examination of the scene is underway.
