A 33 year old man has been remanded to Castlerea Prison after appearing in court charged with the murder of Natalie McGuinness in Sligo yesterday.

A 33 year old man has been remanded to Castlerea Prison after appearing in court charged with the murder of Natalie McGuinness in Sligo yesterday.

Oisín Conroy, with an address at Mail Coach Road in Sligo appeared the District Court this morning with a heavily bandaged head.

Judge Kevin Kilraine ordered that he have psychiatric care in custody - and that he’s placed on suicide watch.
