Woman hit by truck on O'Connell Bridge

A woman has been taken to hospital after she was hit by a truck on O'Connell Bridge in Dublin city centre this morning.

The accident happened at around 8.20am.

The pedestrian was taken to the Mater Hospital and her injuries are described as not serious.

O'Connell Street northbound was closed for a period, but has since reopened.
