Motorcyclist seriously injured after being hit by bus in Dublin

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after colliding with a bus in Dublin.

It happened shortly after 1am at Constitution Hill.

The 25-year-old man was treated at the scene by emergency services and taken to the Mater Hospital.

The bus driver was uninjured and no passengers were on board at the time.

Garda technical experts have examined the scene and the road has since re-opened.

The Gardaí appealing for anyone with information to come forward and contact Bridewell Garda Station.
