Elderly man dies in accident on farm in Co Cavan

A man in his 60s has died in an industrial accident on a farm in the Virginia area of Co. Cavan this afternoon.

The 69-year-old man, believed to be from the Killinkere area, died while working on the roof of a shed at a farm in the Cormaddyduff area in Virginia.
