Plans will be lodged today for what developers hope will be Dublin's tallest office building.
The 73-metre high block would be located at the Point Village, along the northside entrance to the Docklands.
The Elysian apartment block in Cork City stands at 81m, including its spire.
The 17 storey, €80m 'Exo' project is being funded by Nama, and could accommodate 2,000 workers.
Some 350 construction jobs could also be created during the building phase, which its estimated would take two years.
The 'Exo' name is a reference to the proposed building's “exoskeleton” external support structure.
Joint Receivers Stephen Tennant & Paul McCann of Grant Thornton will lodge the planning application.
Grant Thornton also announced today that Starbucks, Eddie Rockets, Piano Plus and several other retailers have entered into leases to open stores within The Point Village Centre and who are due to commence opening in early 2016.

"The economic downturn stalled its progress, but due to the strong demand for quality office and retail space in Dublin, it is now the opportune time to recommence development of a new commercial and entertainment hub.”
