Gales hinder search for missing fisherman off Mayo coast

Gale force winds off the coast of Mayo are hampering search efforts for a missing lobster fisherman.

The man, who is in his 20's, failed to return to harbour last evening and his empty boat was later found at nearby Broadhaven Bay.

Three Coastguard teams are concentrating their search between Rinore Point and Benwee Head.

The Ballyglass lifeboat and several helicopters have also joined in the effort.
