Man stabbed after 'suspicious' fire at his home in Offaly

A man has been left fighting for his life after being stabbed and burned when his house was set on fire.

The incident happened at the man’s home on the edge of Rhode village in Co Offaly at about midnight when a group of men are believed to have arrived at the property.
