Irish 'My door's open' video captures sentiment on day of solidarity with refugees

A national day of action is being held at famine memorials across Ireland to show solidarity with refugees.

An event organised by campaign group Uplift, the Irish Refugee Council and Migrant Rights Centre Ireland culminates in a minute's silence at the Famine memorial at the Custom House Quays in Dublin at 1pm.
