Convicted sex attacker consents to be handed over to UK authorities

A Pakistani national who had been on the run in Ireland after he was convicted of a sex attack in the UK has consented to be surrendered to the authorities there.

Mian Shahid was arrested by gardaí at Dublin Airport on board a flight bound for Dubai on Monday night.
