Hundreds mourn Bryan Whelan at funeral Mass

Hundreds of people have attended the funeral Mass of Bryan Whelan, who died along with a work colleague in a freak incident on the River Shannon last weekend.

The 29-year old from Bridgetown, Co Clare, had been carrying out structural works on Thomond Bridge, in Limerick city, when his work platform collapsed into the river.
