Waterford and Carlow ITs set to reopen merger talks

Waterford Institute of Technology's governing body has agreed to re-enter talks with IT Carlow over a proposed merger.

Discussions on a merger between the colleges had stalled earlier this year, with WIT initially wanting to push ahead with a lone application.
