INMO calls for service shake-up for those with intellectual disabilities

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has called for a shake-up of services for people with intellectual disabilities.

The INMO is launching what it calls a "Campaign for Excellence".

The union has said people with intellectual disabilities need better accommodation and individual care by specialist nurses.

It also wants improved management and increased staffing levels.
