Man rescued from Liffey
A man has been rescued from the River Liffey in Dublin.
A tourist phoned emergency services after spotting a man in the water near the Rosie Hackett bridge at about 6.30pm this evening.
The Dublin Fire Brigade's rescue boat was dispatched immediately and the crew carried out CPR.
He was then rushed to the Mater Hospital where he is understood to be receiving treatment tonight.
