Gardaí seek information after firearm is used in Dublin
Gardaí are appealing for information after shots were fired in central Dublin on Monday lunchtime.
In particular they are appealing for a taxi driver to come forward.
Gardaí were called to a disturbance involving a number of youths at Boyne Street in Dublin 2 at 1pm, during which a number of gun shots were fired.
When officers arrived at the scene those involved had left and no injuries were reported.
A woman in her 20s was arrested during a follow up operation, but has since been released without charge.
Gardai say they would like to hear from a taxi driver in a silver Kia car who took a female passenger from the Pearse Street area to St Vincent's Hospital, arriving at around 1.30pm on Monday.
