Pedestrian killed in bus accident on M2 motorway

A female pedestrian has died following a collision with a bus on a motorway in the North.

The incident happened on the M2 early today, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said.

Inspector Rosie Leech said: “The circumstances of the collision, which occurred just before 6am, are now under investigation and we are keen to hear from witnesses.”

The M2 has reopened following this morning's fatal road traffic collision.
