Fire in Carlow town

Emergency services are dealing with a fire in a retail unit in Carlow town.

Around seven or eight units of the fire brigade have responded to the incident.

The fire is understood to have broken out in a premises above the 'Carry Out' off license on Barrack Street.

Road closures are in place as units of Carlow, Bagenalstown and Tullow Fire Service continue to battle the blaze.
