Police arrest Irish man for climbing naked into couple's bed in Australia
An Irish man has been arrested after being found naked in a couple's bed in Australia.
A couple in the Sydney suburb of Maroubra woke this morning to find the naked man with them in their bed before chasing him out of the room, after he picked up his clothes, into their back yard.
One of the couple, Chris, tried to shut him into the yard while his partner Katie called the police, but he climbed back into the house through the kitchen window and wandered around their home.
Police arrived and arrested the 25-year-old man, but he then started to convulse and an ambulance was called to take him to the Prince of Wales Hospital where he was treated for possible drug related health issues.
Doctors are to give him medical and mental health checks before he is interviewed by police on aggravated break and enter charges.
The couple from Sackville St said the man “wasn’t completely with it” when they confronted him and they think he got in through a window that they keep open for their cat.

Katie told the Daily Telegraph: “Chris is on one side, I’m in the middle and then our stranger on the end right in with us. So just the sense of someone next to me who shouldn’t be there.
“It was terrifying. I was really glad Chris was home and he really took charge of the situation.”
She was unsure know how long he was asleep in bed with them, and said: "That’s kind of the scary part, how long he might have looking at us thinking it's a good idea to get into bed with these guys.
“He was asleep, I could feel heat.”
Police are still at the house investigating the scene this morning.
