Update: Carl Thornton has been found

Update: Carl Thornton has been located safe and well.

Gardaí have asked for the public's help in finding missing man Carl Thornton.

The 41-year-old was last seen last Wednesday afternoon at Drogheda Bus Station when he took a bus to Dublin. From there, he had intended to take an onward bus to Galway.

He is described as being approximately 5’ 8’’ tall, with short brown hair and of medium build. He has a tattoo of a bird on his right forearm.
