Warning over student grants email scam

The student grants body is warning of an email scam.

SUSI says it's received reports of fraudulent emails being received by some people claiming that their applications have been suspended.

The scam comes at a stressful time for students and their families with leaving cert results out this week and CAO offers out on Monday.

SUSI is warning anyone who receives the email not to click on the link contained in it.

It is reminding students and their parents that access to their website - www.grantsonline.ie - can be double-checked by ensuring there's a ‘lock’ symbol in your web browser when you log on.
