Six-wheel lorry sought after fatal Co Down collision

A pedestrian has died following a crash in Ballynahinch, Co Down this morning.

The man was hit by a six-wheeler lorry on Windmill Street shortly before 11am.

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of the lorry, saying that the driver may not be aware that they were involved in a collision.

The vehicle is described as having a blue/brown cab and was loaded with rubble or vegetables.

It travelled through the centre of Ballynahinch and left the town along Dromore Street following the incident.
