Man dies after 'fall from horse-drawn cart'
A man has died after an apparent fall from a horse-drawn cart in Co Wicklow last night.
Gardaí are investigating the single-vehicle accident, which occurred on Red Lane, Calary, Kilmacanogue, Co Wicklow yesterday at around 8.15pm.
The 44-year-old man, was travelling on a horse drawn cart when it appears he fell from the cart.
He was removed by ambulance to St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin 4 where he later died.
There was no other people on the cart at the time.
The scene has been preserved and Garda Forensic Collision Investigators will carry out an investigation of the area. Diversions are in place.
