FG's Dan Neville pulls out of election running

Fine Gael TD Dan Neville has announced he is not contesting the next General Election.

He has been an Oireachtas member for Co Limerick for 26 years, 18 in the Dáil and eight in the Seanad.

Deputy Neville says he feels it is the right time to pass on the opportunity of representing the constituency to a younger person.

He is also an advocate for Mental Health awareness and suicide prevention.
