Gardaí in Dublin and Laois arrest three in dissident investigation

Gardaí have confimed that three men in their 20s have been arrested in connection with dissident republican activity in Dublin and Laois.

One man appeared before a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court last night - another was released without charge - while the third remains in custody at Irishtown Garda Station.

In a further operation, a fourth man in his 20s was arrested in Dublin and he is being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
