Man dies in industrial incident in Galway

A man in his mid 50s has died in an industrial incident in Co Galway.

It happened in a yard at Corrandulla near Headford at around 3.15p,.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to University College Hospital Galway.

A post mortem will be carried out.

The scene is preserved and the Health and Safety Authority is investigating.
