A minutes silence will be held before Manchester United's pre-season game as a tribute to those killed and injured in the Berkeley balcony collapse.

The Premier League side are in California to play the San Jose Earthquakes.

The minutes silence is being organised by friends of the Berkeley families as a mark of respect.

One of those who died, Niccolai Schuster met Manchester United's new midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

The German star paid tribute to the Nick and the other victims of the accident on his Facebook page in June.
