Man in critical condition after Temple Bar stabbing

A man in his early 30s is critically ill in hospital after a stabbing incident in Dublin.

It happened at around 7.30pm last night in Cope Street, Temple Bar.

The man, who was stabbed a number of times, was taken to St James's Hospital.

Gardaí in Pearse Street are examining CCTV footage as part of their investigation.

Nobody as yet has been arrested in connection with the attack.
