Index ranks Ireland near bottom for broadband value

Prices for fixed broadband in Ireland are almost double the EU average, according to the latest Digital Economy and Society Index.

The index, released by the European Commission, ranks Ireland 23 out of 28 EU member states for fixed broadband value.
