Two due in court over Post Office robbery
Two men aged in their 30s and 40s are due before Dublin District Court this morning in connection with an attempted armed robbery at a Post Office in the capital yesterday.
Two men, one of whom is believed to have been wielding a hammer, entered Kilnamanagh Post Office at just before 11 am and demanded cash.
No money was handed over and the men fled the scene in a red Toyota Corolla which was later burned out at Treepark Road.
Two men were detained a short time later near Tymon North.
