Westport boil water notice lifted
A boil water notice in place in Westport has now been lifted.
The notice was put in place on May 6 due to a number of cases of Cryptosporidiosis reported to the HSE.
However, Irish Water has said they have carried out modifications and improvements at the treatment plant, as well as on the water supply network adjacent to the plant.
Following water quality testing the boil water notice has now been removed with immediate effect.
