Man hospitalised after violence in Dublin

A man has been arrested after a violent incident in Dublin which left another man in hospital.

Gardaí were called to the scene at a B and B Kennelsfort Road Lower in Palmerstown just before 4am this morning.

Two men in their mid twenties were taken to hospital in Blanchardstown, and one is said to have suffered serious injuries.

The man being questioned is understood to be in his mid-30s, and is being questioned at Ballyfermot Garda station.

The scene of the incident is still sealed off and traffic diversions remain in place from Kennelsfort Road Lower into Palmerstown Village.
