Thousands march in support of Dunnes staff
Thousands marched through Dublin city centre earlier today calling for better working conditions for workers at Dunnes Stores.
The demonstration attracted a range of trade unions, who held a rally outside the Dunnes Stores Headquarters on Georges Street.
Today's protest comes after a day of industrial action by Dunnes workers in April, over low-hour contracts and the right to collective bargaining.
Mandate says some members of management at the company punished some workers by changing their hours afterwards.
The union will meet next week to discuss any developments the situation.
