RTE to ask High Court to vary terms of O'Brien injunction

RTE will ask the High Court to vary the terms of Denis O'Brien's media injunction on Wednesday.

The businessman secured an order last month stopping the reporting of his banking arrangments with IBRC.

Many of the details subsequently emerged in Dáil statements made by Independent TD Catherine Murphy.

Earlier this week Mr Justice Donald Binchy issued a redacted judgment and confirmed that his order did not extend to Dáil privilege.
