Police in East Belfast are appealing for information after missiles were thrown in the area yesterday evening.

Police in East Belfast are appealing for information after missiles were thrown in the area yesterday evening.

After 8.30pm, a number of stones were thrown into the Bryson Street and Thistle Court areas.

Just over two hours later, three petrol bombs were thrown into the Strand Walk area, and just before 11.45pm, a house in the Bryson Street area was hit with a number of paint bombs.

According to the PSNI, only minor damage was caused during these incidents, but they are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
