Roscrea to stage once-off group photo

A town in Tipperary is calling for natives to come home and take part in a unique photo opportunity.

A local publisher from Roscrea, James Williams of www.thefinest.ie is organising a group portrait of the townspeople within the walls of the 800-year-old Roscrea Castle.

He wants people to come the free event, wearing club tops or school uniforms if possible (but no flags or banners please), at 11am on Saturday, June 6, for "A Portrait of Roscrea".

They will have their photo taken by Brian Redmond of Redmond’s of Roscrea to "highlight the strong community spirit" of Ireland’s third oldest market town.
