Woman found dead in Mayo is named

The woman who was found dead in Co Mayo yesterday has been named locally as 49-year-old Ann Murphy.

Gardaí have said that the results of a post mortem examination on the body are inconclusive.

Her body was found at a house in Ballycurran near Glencorrib yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí are now awaiting toxicology results and are treating the death as unexplained.

A technical and forensic examination of the scene is ongoing.
